Principal & co-founder of Chêne Bleu, a multi-award-winning winery, and CEO of the eco-luxury retreat La Verrière in Provence, France. A former investment banker at Merrill Lynch and program director in one of David Rockefeller’s geopolitical think tanks, Nicole had to connect with her inner entrepreneur when she founded an organic and sustainably-minded haute-couture wine label, and restored the ancient estate, which itself has grown into a leading wine education venue and retreat. Launched in 2010, Chêne Bleu is now distributed in 18 countries and hailed by critics as the world’s first Super-Rhône wine. She co-founded and hosted the Grenache Symposium, a world summit dedicated to this often-overlooked grape. Grand-daughter of a Boston Suffragette and heir to a legacy of women in positions of professional responsibility, she believes in the ‘Profit&Purpose’ economy, helping and mentoring women to achieve their goals and participate in the betterment of society. Living between the UK and Provence, Nicole is acting chair of the London chapter of global women’s network Feminin Pluriel, delegate of Lead(Her)ship, judge and presenter at the Women of the Future Awards, Advisory member of the newly founded all-women St. James’ Circle at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
